"Build your own 3D Earth application"
The TU Delft minor "3D Virtual Earth" is an multidisciplinary programme hosted by the Architecture faculty, and several other faculties are involved in the programme: EWI, LR, CiTG and TBM.
The main focus of the minor is 3D geographical information, ie 3D city models and virtual globes. It focuses on the automatic surveying and acquisition of data (with for instance GPS, satellites, laser scanners attached to helicopter) and it also has a design component.
It has been given in 2009 and 2010, with great success.
